About the Course

​

The HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course is designed to teach participants how to recognise, respond to, and manage a collapsed casualty. You’ll learn how to:

  • Assess emergency scenes using the DRSABCD Action Plan

  • Perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on adults and infants

  • Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) correctly

Training and assessment are delivered in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and current best-practice standards.
