Combined Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Low Voltage Rescue Training

The HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and UETDRMP018 Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel course set provides essential, nationally recognised training for individuals working in high-risk environments where electrical hazards and medical emergencies may occur.

This program equips participants with the skills, confidence, and practical experience needed to respond effectively to cardiac arrest and electrical incidents, helping ensure the safety of themselves, their colleagues, and the wider workplace.

 

During this course, participants will learn how to:

  • Recognise and respond to cardiac arrest in accordance with Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines

  • Perform CPR on an adult manikin and use an automated external defibrillator (AED)

  • Provide basic life support until emergency medical help arrives

  • Safely perform a rescue from a live low-voltage electrical panel, following electrical safety procedures and isolation protocols

  • Assess hazards and manage the scene to prevent further injury or risk

This hands-on course blends theoretical understanding with realistic practical scenarios to ensure participants are prepared for real-world emergencies.
