When we teach first aid, the instructor up front of the class has the rel life experience to draw upon.
When we provide event medic coverage, our staff have the knowledge and equipment to manage an emergency.

Jason has been teaching first aid and emergency care for over 20 years. He has dual registration as a Nurse & Paramedic and works as a Registered Nurse at Cairns Hospital Emergency Department. His roles include Nursing Team Leader of the ED Severe Trauma and Resuscitation Team, member of the Disaster Management and Trauma committees. He has authored numerous first aid publications, developed learning programs for RTO's and universities across Australia. Jason specialises in remote area medic work and education. He also has vocational qualifications in Outdoor Recreation and WHS.

David joins our team with 10 years’ experience with St John Ambulance Queensland as a State Operations Coordinator. David’s background is in clinical event & disaster management in which he has organised and lead clinical teams for natural disasters and major events like the Brisbane EKKA, Mt Isa Rodeo, Groovin the Moo and the Great Barrier Reef Marathon just to name a few. David’s clinical background is as a medic, qualified trainer and an Advanced Skills Enrolled Nurse at Cairns Emergency Department.

Danielle has more than a decade in sales and marketing having worked for organisations such as Bluescope Steel and Orcon Steel. She has qualifications in Allied Health & Education Support and is a trainer and Assessor in these areas.

Peter has more than 30 years experience as a paramedic with Queensland Ambulance Service.
Medic | Sports Trainer | Instructor
Kelvin spent 12 years in the Australian Army, the last 8 years as a Combat First Aider/Medic. He is an Level 3 Sports Trainer with over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and has a genuine passion for providing emergency care.
Enrolled Nurse | Instructor
Kevin worked for the Queensland Ambulance Service as an Advancded Care Paramedic for over 18 years. He has been teaching first aid since 2000 and is currently working as an Enrolled Nurse.
Originally specialising in Critical Care Nursing, James has 14 years’ experience in triage and complex management of the emergency and trauma patient. Most recently, James held the role of Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Cairns Hospital. Previously James worked with the Queensland Ambulance Service as an Advanced Care Paramedic 2. Before that, he was a Nursing Officer and Rotary Wing Flight Nurse in the Australian Army. He has also worked as a Close Health Support Logistics Officer
Ange is an endorsed enrolled nurse currently working at Cairns Hospital Emergency Department. She has been a nurse for 12 years, 7 of those in ED and is currently studying her Bachelor in Nursing. She has worked at the Commonwealth Games, Ironman cairns, Mount Isa rodeo, Port Douglas triathlon, Einsleigh rodeo, Cairns Taipans basketball games, Innisfail and Cairns shows.
James is currently completing the final year of his Paramedic degree. He has been focused on the event medic industry for the previous 2 years with medic experience over various range event styles and locations.
His previous experience in Event Management and Event Security Management crossed with his higher level medical abilities offers a unique skill set to assist you in making your event a safe success.”

Alex has 7 years’ experience in lifeguarding in a variety of different areas including Sydney, Northern Territory and Bahamas.
With more than 20 years Lifeguarding experience patrolling the busy beaches of the Gold Coast, Lisa brings a wealth of experience to the Green Island Lifeguard team. She has twice been awarded Life Saver of the year.
Chung "Sam" Chung
Prior to arriving in Australia to work on Green Island as a Lifeguard, Sam worked as a Lifeguard on the busy beaches of Hong Kong for 5 years. He is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin which is a brilliant asset for the Green island environment.
