Occupational First Aid

This course is designed for anyone responsible for coordinating first aid at their workplace including establishing and maintaining first aid rooms, kits and equipment.

 

What will I learn?

You will learn a range of skills and knowledge on how to take control of medical emergencies in the workplace, manage the resources associated with workplace first aid equipment including setting up first aid rooms/stations.

This course includes the following nationally recognised units of competency:

HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 Provide first aid

HLTAID014 - Provide Advanced First Aid.

HLTAID015 - Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy

HLTSS00068 - Occupational First Aid Skill Set
